Rising to 2,068 meters (6,785 feet) above sea level, Inficionado Peak is the second-highest point in the Espinhaço Mountain Range, surpassed only by Pico do Sol. The trail to Inficionado Peak

During the rainy season, access to the peak is suspended for safety reasons due to increased stream flow, the emergence of springs, slippery terrain, and the high incidence of lightning in mountainous areas. It is essential to schedule the hike in advance and strictly follow the guidelines provided by the Caraça Sanctuary, ensuring a safe and environmentally responsible visit.
